daf799cca8 Merge branch 'upstream' of git://git.linux-mips.org/pub/scm/ralf/upstream-linus
Pull MIPS updates from Ralf Baechle:

 - More work on DT support for various platforms

 - Various fixes that were to late to make it straight into 3.9

 - Improved platform support, in particular the Netlogic XLR and
BCM63xx, and the SEAD3 and Malta eval boards.

 - Support for several Ralink SOC families.

 - Complete support for the microMIPS ASE which basically reencodes the
existing MIPS32/MIPS64 ISA to use non-constant size instructions.

 - Some fallout from LTO work which remove old cruft and will generally
make the MIPS kernel easier to maintain and resistant to compiler
optimization, even in absence of LTO.

 - KVM support. While MIPS has announced hardware virtualization
extensions this KVM extension uses trap and emulate mode for
virtualization of MIPS32. More KVM work to add support for VZ
hardware virtualizaiton extensions and MIPS64 will probably already
   be merged for 3.11.

Most of this has been sitting in -next for a long time. All defconfigs
have been build or run time tested except three for which fixes are being
sent by other maintainers.

Semantic conflict with kvm updates done as per Ralf

362ed48dee The common clock framework changes for 3.10 include many fixes for
existing platforms, as well as adoption of the framework by new
platforms and devices. Some long-needed fixes to the core framework are
here as well as new features such as improved initialization of clocks
from DT as well as framework reentrancy for nested clock operations.

9abd5f0555 clk: add si5351 i2c common clock driver
This patch adds a common clock driver for Silicon Labs Si5351a/b/c
i2c programmable clock generators. Currently, the driver does not
support VXCO feature of si5351b. Passing platform_data or DT bindings
selectively allows to overwrite stored Si5351 configuration which is
very helpful for clock generators with empty eeprom configuration.
Corresponding device tree binding documentation is also added.

447b0c7b93 spi/spi-fsl-spi: Add support for Aeroflex Gaisler GRLIB cores normally running on SPARC
This adds support for the mostly register-compatible SPICTRL cores from the
GRLIB VHDL IP core library from Aeroflex Gaisler. They are normally running on
SPARC. A different entry in of_fsl_spi_match matches this core and indicates a
different hardware type that is used to set up different function pointers and
special cases.

The GRLIB core operates in cpu mode. The number of bits per word might be
limited. There might be native chipselects selected via a slave select
register. These differences to the FSL type cores, if present, are indicated by
a capabilities register. Other register and function differences exists but are
not relevant to the driver.

ec9653b847 ARM: add infra-structure for BCM2835 and Raspberry Pi
The BCM2835 is an ARM SoC from Broadcom. This patch adds very basic
support for this SoC.

http://www.broadcom.com/products/BCM2835
http://www.raspberrypi.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/BCM2835-ARM-Peripherals.pdf

Note that the documentation in the latter .pdf assumes the MMU setup
that's used on the "VideoCore" companion processor, and does not document
physical peripheral addresses. Subtract 0x5e000000 to obtain the physical
addresses. This is accounted for by the ranges property in the /soc node
in the device tree.

The BCM2835 SoC is used in the Raspberry Pi. This patch also adds a
minimal device tree for this board; enough to see some very early kernel
boot messages through earlyprintk. However, this patch does not yet
provide a useful booting system.

This patch was extracted from git://github.com/lp0/linux.git branch
rpi-split from 3-4 months ago, and significantly stripped down and

b2094ef840 Updates of sound stuff for 3.4-rc1
Here is the first big update chunk of sound stuff for 3.4-rc1.

In the common sound infrastructure, there are a few changes for
dynamic PCM support (used in ASoC) and a few clean-ups. Majority of
changes are found, as usual, in HD-audio and ASoC.

 Some highlights of HD-audio changes:
 - All the long-standing static quirk codes for Realtek codec were
finally removed by fixing and extending the Realtek auto-parser.

 - The mute-LED control is standardized over all HD-audio codec
drivers using the extended vmaster hook.

 - The vmaster slave mixer elements are initialized to 0dB as default
so that the user won't be annoyed by the silent output after
updates, e.g. due to the additions of new elements.

 - Other many fix-ups for the misc HD-audio devices.

In the ASoC side, this is a very active release, including a quite a
 few framework enhancements. Some highlights:

 - Support for widgets not associated with a CODEC, an important part
   of the dynamic PCM framework.

 - A library factoring out the common code shared by dmaengine based
DMA drivers contributed by Lars-Peter Clausen. This will save a lot
of code and make it much easier to deploy enhancements to
   dmaengine.

 - Support for binary controls, used for providing runtime
   configuration of algorithm coefficients.

 - A new DAPM widget type for regulator supplies allowing drivers for
devices that can power down unused supplies while active to do
   without any per-driver code.

 - DAPM widgets for DAIs, initially giving a speed boost for playback
startup and shutdown and also the basis for CODEC<->CODEC DAI link
   support.

 - Support for specifying the number of significant bits on audio
interfaces, useful for allowing applications to know how much effort
to put into generating data for a larger sample format.

 - Conversion of the FSI driver used on some SH processors to
   DMAEngine.

 - Conversion of EP93xx drivers to DMAEngine.

 - New CODEC drivers for Maxim MAX9768 and Wolfson Microelectronics
   WM2200.

 - Move audmux driver from arc/arm to sound/soc

 - McBSP move from arch/ to sound/ and updates

Also, a few small updates and fixes for other drivers like au88x0,
ymfpci, USB 6fire, USB usx2yaudio are included.
