Add unittests for OF overlays.
It tests overlay device addition/removal and whether
the apply revert sequence is correct.

Overlays are a method to dynamically modify part of the kernel's
device tree with dynamically loaded data. Add the core functionality to
parse, apply and remove an overlay changeset. The core functionality
takes care of managing the overlay data format and performing the add
and remove. Drivers are expected to use the overlay functionality to
support custom expansion busses commonly found on consumer development
boards like the BeagleBone or Raspberry Pi.
The overlay code uses CONFIG_OF_DYNAMIC changesets to perform the low
level work of modifying the devicetree.

To simplify subsystem setup code, make empty stubs for the
of_reconfig_*() methods. This is particularly useful for registering and
unregistering the notifiers so that it doesn't impact the flow of the
subsystem setup code.

The original resolver format is way too cryptic, switch
to using a tree based format that gets rid of repetitions,
is more compact and readable.
At the same time, update the selftests to using the new local fixups
format.

Add a node argument to __of_node_alloc() and rename it to
__of_node_dup() so that it can also be used to duplicate a node with
its properties. This is important for the overlay code so that it can
create new nodes without using separate changeset items for every single
property.
At the same time rework the overlay code to use the new function and
drop the extra changeset items.

The overlay code needs to construct a new full_name from the parent name
and the node name, but the current method has to allocate and then free
an temporary string which is wasteful. Fix this problem by using vargs
to pass in a format and arguments into __of_node_alloc().
At the same time remove the allocflags argument to __of_node_alloc().
The only users all use GFP_KERNEL, so there is no need to provide it as
an option. If there is ever a need later it can be added back.

nfs4_layoutget_release() drops layout hdr refcnt. Grab the refcnt
early so that it is safe to call .release in case nfs4_alloc_pages

We currently use num_possible_cpus(), but that breaks on sparc64 where
the CPU ID space is discontig. Use nr_cpu_ids as the highest CPU ID
instead, so we don't end up reading from invalid memory.

Recent work in the pgio layer made it possible for there to be more than one
request per page. This caused a subtle change in commit behavior, because
write.c:nfs_commit_unstable_pages compares the number of *pages* waiting for
writeback against the number of requests on a commit list to choose when to
send a COMMIT in a non-blocking flush.
This is probably hard to hit in normal operation - you have to be using
rsize/wsize < PAGE_SIZE, or pnfs with lots of boundaries that are not page
aligned to have a noticeable change in behavior.

In the Makefile for this driver, the wrong Kconfig option is used
to trigger the compilation of the object file. This leads to the
driver only being included into the kernel when both CONFIG_RTL8821AE
and CONFIG_RTL8192AE are set to "y".

In four of the rtlwifi drivers, the Makefile contains superfluous
statements indicating the compilation of the driver as an LKM
regardless of the corresponding Kconfig option.
If the corresponding option is set to 'y', the build system will then
see the object file in obj-m and obj-y, which leads to a compilation
as a built-in only. Even though this leads to the desired behavior,
the unconditional appearance in obj-m is confusing for someone reading
the Makefile.
This patch removes the superfluous Makefile statements.

Add minimal runtime PM support (enable on probe, disable on remove), to
ensure proper operation with a parent device that uses runtime PM.
This is needed on systems where the external bus controller module of
the SoC is contained in a PM domain and/or has a gateable functional
clock. In such cases, before accessing any device connected to the
external bus, the PM domain must be powered up, and/or the functional
clock must be enabled, which is typically handled through runtime PM by
the bus controller driver.
An example of this is the kzm9g development board, where an smsc9220
Ethernet controller is connected to the Bus State Controller (BSC) of a
Renesas sh73a0 SoC.

Verify whether both the lock and RCU protected iterators see all
test entries before and after expanding and shrinking has been
performed. Also verify whether the number of entries in the hashtable
remains stable during expansion and shrinking.

If xenvif_alloc() or xenbus_scanf() fail in backend_create_xenvif(),
xenbus is left in offline mode but netback_probe() reports success.
The patch implements propagation of error code for backend_create_xenvif().

When debugging the tui browser I find it useful to redirect the debug
log into a file. Currently it's always forced to the message line.
Add an option to force it to stderr. Then it can be easily redirected.

We need to define bfd_demangle() to either a wrapper for
cplus_demangle() or to a stub when NO_DEMANGLE is defined.
That is at odds with using bfd.h for some other reason, as it defines
bfd_demangle() and then if code that wants to use symbol.h, where the
above stubbing/wrapping is done, and bfd.h for other reasons, we end up
with a build error where bfd_demangle() is found to be redefined.
Avoid that by moving the stubbing/wrapping to symbol-elf.c, that is the
only user of such function. If we ever get to a point where there are
more valid users, we can then introduce a header for that.
