e6a423a81d net: phy: micrel: add device-type abstraction
Add structured device-type information and support for generic led-mode
setup to the generic config_init callback.

This is a first step in ultimately getting rid of device-type specific
callbacks.

3f56d2b31d [media] media: pci: smipcie: Fix dependency for DVB_SMIPCIE
In smipcie.c, the function i2c_bit_add_bus() is called. This
function is defined by the I2C bit-banging interfaces enabled
with CONFIG_I2C_ALGOBIT.

As there was no dependency in Kconfig, CONFIG_I2C_ALGOBIT could
be set to "m" while CONFIG_DVB_SMIPCIE was set to "y", resulting
in a build error due to an undefined reference.

This patch adds the dependency on CONFIG_I2C_ALGOBIT in Kconfig
by selecting it when CONFIG_DVB_SMIPCIE is selected.

On CPM1, when the SPI parameter RAM is relocated to somewhere else than the

(refer micropatch SPI application note EB662), init RX/TX params command shall
not be used because it doesn't take into account the new location, and
overwrites data that is in original location of SPI param ram at addresses
SCC2 param base +  (u32*)0x88 (u16*)0x90 (u32*)0x98 (u16*)0xA0, hence breaking
activity on SCC2 if SCC2 is used in a mode like QMC for instance.

Therefore, the action shall be done manually as described by freescale and as

d200c30ef0 dm thin: fix pool_io_hints to avoid looking at max_hw_sectors
Simplify the pool_io_hints code that works to establish a max_sectors
value that is a power-of-2 factor of the thin-pool's blocksize. The
biggest associated improvement is that the DM thin-pool is no longer
concerning itself with the data device's max_hw_sectors when adjusting
max_sectors.

This fixes the relative fragility of the original "dm thin: adjust
max_sectors_kb based on thinp blocksize" commit that only became
apparent when testing was performed using a DM thin-pool ontop of a
virtio_blk device. One proposed upstream patch detailed the problems
inherent in virtio_blk: https://lkml.org/lkml/2014/11/20/611

So even though virtio_blk incorrectly set its max_hw_sectors it actually
helped make it clear that we need DM thinp to be tolerant of any future
Linux driver that incorrectly sets max_hw_sectors.

We only need to be concerned with modifying the thin-pool device's
max_sectors limit if it is smaller than the thin-pool's blocksize. In
this case the value of max_sectors does become a limiting factor when
upper layers (e.g. filesystems) construct their bios. But if the
hardware can support IOs larger than the thin-pool's blocksize the user
is encouraged to adjust the thin-pool's data device's max_sectors
accordingly -- doing so will enable the thin-pool to inherit the
established user-defined max_sectors.

3c787b108f [media] solo6x10: fix a race in IRQ handler
The IRQs have to be acknowledged before they are serviced, otherwise some events
may be skipped. Also, acknowledging IRQs just before returning from the handler
doesn't leave enough time for the device to deassert the INTx line, and for
bridges to propagate this change. This resulted in twice the IRQ rate on ARMv6
dual core CPU.

d1180f69b8 ARM: OMAP2+: hwmod: AM43x: add hwmod support for ADC on AM43xx
This patch adds hwmod support for ADC on AM43xx. Since clockdomain
and offsets of adc_tsc are different from AM33xx, ADC data has been
directly added to AM43xx hwmod file.

Switch to a random RSS key rather than a fixed one.
Using netdev_rss_key_fill helper also ensures that all ports share

6b397158d0 kvm: remove IA64 ioctls
KVM ia64 is no longer present so new applications shouldn't use them.
The main problem is that they most likely didn't work even before,
because of a conflict in the #defines:

  #define KVM_SET_GUEST_DEBUG       _IOW(KVMIO,  0x9b, struct kvm_guest_debug)
  #define KVM_IA64_VCPU_SET_STACK   _IOW(KVMIO,  0x9b, void *)

The argument to KVM_SET_GUEST_DEBUG is:

  struct kvm_guest_debug {
  	__u32 control;
  	__u32 pad;
  	struct kvm_guest_debug_arch arch;
  };

  struct kvm_guest_debug_arch {
  };

meaning that sizeof(struct kvm_guest_debug) == sizeof(void *) == 8
and KVM_SET_GUEST_DEBUG == KVM_IA64_VCPU_SET_STACK.

KVM_SET_GUEST_DEBUG is handled in virt/kvm/kvm_main.c before even calling
kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl (which would have handled KVM_IA64_VCPU_SET_STACK),
so KVM_IA64_VCPU_SET_STACK would just return -EINVAL.
