0ea62502a5 ARM64: dts: marvell: enable USB host on Armada-8040-DB
Enable USB host on Armada-8040-DB by adding USB PHY nodes for the
following ports:
  - host 0 and 1 of CPM
  - host 0 of CPS

These PHY are enabled by lanes coming from regulators based on two
I2C expanders.

The NAND controller used in A7K/A8K is present on the CP110. It is

7f5d6dac54 drm/atomic: Handle -EDEADLK with out-fences correctly
complete_crtc_signaling is freeing fence_state, but when retrying
num_fences and fence_state are not zero'd. This caused duplicate
fd's in the fence_state array, followed by a BUG_ON in fs/file.c
because we reallocate freed memory, and installing over an existing
fd, or potential other fun.

Zero fence_state and num_fences correctly in the retry loop, which
allows kms_atomic_transition to pass.

659d8a6231 gpio: vf610: add imx7ulp support
The Rapid General-Purpose Input and Output with 2 Ports (RGPIO2P)
on MX7ULP is similar to GPIO on Vibrid. But unlike Vibrid, the
RGPIO2P has an extra Port Data Direction Register (PDDR) used
to configure the individual port pins for input or output.

We introduce a bool have_paddr with fsl_gpio_soc_data data
to distinguish this differences. And we support getting the output
status by checking the GPIO direction in PDDR.

8340e915ea dt-bindings: gpio-vf610: add imx7ulp support
The Rapid General-Purpose Input and Output with 2 Ports (RGPIO2P)
on MX7ULP is similar to GPIO on Vibrid, except it has an extra
Port Data Direction Register (PDDR) used to configure the individual
port pins for input or output.

77a4d75719 gpio: gpio-mxc: gpio_set_wake_irq() use proper return values
Errors from enable_irq_wake() in gpio_set_wake_irq() were silently ignored.
Thus led to the problem that gpio_set_wake_irq() always returned
successfully, even if enable_irq_wake() returned an error.

dbd1dad2ab gpio: rcar: add gen[123] fallback compatibility strings
Add fallback compatibility string for R-Car Gen 1, 2 and 3.

In the case of Renesas R-Car hardware we know that there are generations of
SoCs, f.e. Gen 1 and 2. But beyond that its not clear what the relationship
between IP blocks might be. For example, I believe that r8a7790 is older
than r8a7791 but that doesn't imply that the latter is a descendant of the
former or vice versa.

We can, however, by examining the documentation and behaviour of the
hardware at run-time observe that the current driver implementation appears
to be compatible with the IP blocks on SoCs within a given generation.

For the above reasons and convenience when enabling new SoCs a
per-generation fallback compatibility string scheme being adopted for
drivers for Renesas SoCs.

Also deprecate renesas,gpio-rcar as its name is more generic than its
implementation.
