e0d20b69d3 Merge branch 'gic/cleanup' into next/soc
Merge in the gic cleanup since it has a handful of annoying internal conflicts
with soc development branches. All of them are delete/delete conflicts.

* gic/cleanup:
  irqchip: vic: add include of linux/irq.h
  irqchip: gic: Perform the gic_secondary_init() call via CPU notifier
  irqchip: gic: Call handle_bad_irq() directly
  arm: Move chained_irq_(enter|exit) to a generic file
  arm: Move the set_handle_irq and handle_arch_irq declarations to asm/irq.h

730dca42c1 KVM: x86: Rework request for immediate exit
The VMX implementation of enable_irq_window raised
KVM_REQ_IMMEDIATE_EXIT after we checked it in vcpu_enter_guest. This

8e591cb720 KVM: PPC: Book3S: Add infrastructure to implement kernel-side RTAS calls
For pseries machine emulation, in order to move the interrupt
controller code to the kernel, we need to intercept some RTAS
calls in the kernel itself. This adds an infrastructure to allow
in-kernel handlers to be registered for RTAS services by name.
A new ioctl, KVM_PPC_RTAS_DEFINE_TOKEN, then allows userspace to
associate token values with those service names. Then, when the
guest requests an RTAS service with one of those token values, it
will be handled by the relevant in-kernel handler rather than being
passed up to userspace as at present.

eb1e4f43e0 kvm/ppc/mpic: add KVM_CAP_IRQ_MPIC
Enabling this capability connects the vcpu to the designated in-kernel
MPIC. Using explicit connections between vcpus and irqchips allows
for flexibility, but the main benefit at the moment is that it
simplifies the code -- KVM doesn't need vm-global state to remember
which MPIC object is associated with this vm, and it doesn't need to
care about ordering between irqchip creation and vcpu creation.

852b6d57dc kvm: add device control API
Currently, devices that are emulated inside KVM are configured in a
hardcoded manner based on an assumption that any given architecture
only has one way to do it. If there's any need to access device state,
it is done through inflexible one-purpose-only IOCTLs (e.g.
KVM_GET/SET_LAPIC). Defining new IOCTLs for every little thing is
cumbersome and depletes a limited numberspace.

This API provides a mechanism to instantiate a device of a certain
type, returning an ID that can be used to set/get attributes of the
device. Attributes may include configuration parameters (e.g.
register base address), device state, operational commands, etc. It
is similar to the ONE_REG API, except that it acts on devices rather
than vcpus.

Both device types and individual attributes can be tested without having
to create the device or get/set the attribute, without the need for
separately managing enumerated capabilities.

948a902c84 KVM: Drop __KVM_HAVE_IOAPIC condition on irq routing
We have a capability enquire system that allows user space to ask kvm
whether a feature is available.

The point behind this system is that we can have different kernel
configurations with different capabilities and user space can adjust
accordingly.

Because features can always be non existent, we can drop any #ifdefs
on CAP defines that could be used generically, like the irq routing
bits. These can be easily reused for non-IOAPIC systems as well.

25f55d9d01 sched: Fix init NOHZ_IDLE flag
On my SMP platform which is made of 5 cores in 2 clusters, I
have the nr_busy_cpu field of sched_group_power struct that is
not null when the platform is fully idle - which makes the
scheduler unhappy.

The root cause is:

During the boot sequence, some CPUs reach the idle loop and set
their NOHZ_IDLE flag while waiting for others CPUs to boot. But
the nr_busy_cpus field is initialized later with the assumption
that all CPUs are in the busy state whereas some CPUs have
already set their NOHZ_IDLE flag.

More generally, the NOHZ_IDLE flag must be initialized when new
sched_domains are created in order to ensure that NOHZ_IDLE and
nr_busy_cpus are aligned.

This condition can be ensured by adding a synchronize_rcu()
between the destruction of old sched_domains and the creation of
new ones so the NOHZ_IDLE flag will not be updated with old
sched_domain once it has been initialized. But this solution
introduces a additionnal latency in the rebuild sequence that is
called during cpu hotplug.

As suggested by Frederic Weisbecker, another solution is to have
the same rcu lifecycle for both NOHZ_IDLE and sched_domain
struct. A new nohz_idle field is added to sched_domain so both
status and sched_domain will share the same RCU lifecycle and
will be always synchronized. In addition, there is no more need
to protect nohz_idle against concurrent access as it is only
modified by 2 exclusive functions called by local cpu.

This solution has been prefered to the creation of a new struct
with an extra pointer indirection for sched_domain.

The synchronization is done at the cost of :

 - An additional indirection and a rcu_dereference for accessing nohz_idle.
 - We use only the nohz_idle field of the top sched_domain.

8cc3f23caf drm: Add drm_mode_equal_no_clocks()
drm_mode_equal_no_clocks() is like drm_mode_equal() except it doesn't
compare the clock or vrefresh values. drm_mode_equal() is now
implemented by first doing the clock checks, and then calling
drm_mode_equal_no_clocks().
