67a5da564f ext4: make the zero-out chunk size tunable
Currently in ext4 the length of zero-out chunk is set to 7 file system
blocks. But if an inode has uninitailized extents from using
fallocate to preallocate space, and the workload issues many random
writes, this can cause a fragmented extent tree that will
unnecessarily grow the extent tree.

So create a new sysfs tunable, extent_max_zeroout_kb, which controls
the maximum size where blocks will be zeroed out instead of creating a
new uninitialized extent. The default of this has been sent to 32kb.

df981d03ee ext4: add max_dir_size_kb mount option
Very large directories can cause significant performance problems, or
perhaps even invoke the OOM killer, if the process is running in a
highly constrained memory environment (whether it is VM's with a small
amount of memory or in a small memory cgroup).

So it is useful, in cloud server/data center environments, to be able
to set a filesystem-wide cap on the maximum size of a directory, to
ensure that directories never get larger than a sane size. We do this
via a new mount option, max_dir_size_kb. If there is an attempt to
grow the directory larger than max_dir_size_kb, the system call will
return ENOSPC instead.

1e7ba630d4 MTD: pxa3xx-nand: add devicetree bindings
This patch contains a hack to get the DMA resources of the device when
probed from a devicetree node. This can be removed once a generic DMA
controller framework lands.

A mtd_part_parser_data is passed mtd_device_parse_register which
contains a reference to the device node, so MTD partitions can be
added as children.

1c86845268 ALSA: hda - Add 3stack-automute model to AD1882 codec
Added a simple support of automute for the front HP jack to AD1882

want to avoid the static quirk codes, but AD1882 parser isn't still

merged it for now.

In near future, we really need the big clean up of patch_analog.c to

9ee99783d7 arm: add documentation describing Marvell families of SoC
As stated in the introduction of the document, the families of ARM
SoCs at Marvell are very complicated, and it is difficult for
newcomers to understand the organization of this SoC family and how it
relates to the Linux kernel support for those hardware platforms.

This document is only at RFC stage for now, it requires reviews and
comments from the Marvell maintainers, the PXA maintainers and the MMP
maintainers. For correctness of course, but also to add any other
information that would be useful. For example, one of the thing that
wasn't clear how to detail in the documentation is how the SoCs relate
to each other in terms of hardware IP blocks. For example, most of the
Kirkwood/Dove/Armada 370-XP/etc. hardware IPs (I2C, SPI, USB, SATA,
etc.) are identical, while the PXA and MMP families are completely
separate.
