ec71a07d1c rtl8192de: Recognize 92D E-CUT version.
The chip version constant (0xCC33) was taken from version 0001.0105.2011
of the GPL vendor driver. Note that this driver version also ships a
firmware update, but I am unsure if it is required for E-CUT chips to
function properly.

A nearby spelling error was also corrected.

7d486fdeb0 rtl8192de: Clean up and fix 92D cut version constants and macros.
The previous definitions included both {B,C,D,E}_CUT_VERSION and
CHIP_92D_{C,D}_CUT with conflicting values for the C and D cut versions,
and literal hex values were used in the IS_92D_{C,D,E}_CUT macros. So
we clean all this up and in doing so enable cut-specific code paths for
cuts C and D, which would not have been executed because the
CHIP_92D_{C,D}_CUT constants were wrong and the cut version was thus
recorded incorrectly.

3 regression fixes:
- disable gmbus again, too broken for 3.4, we'll try again for 3.5
- dp bandwidth computation fix, we've lost the 6bpc dithering flag
sometimes, this is a 3.3 regression (maybe even earlier for some
 configurations).
- fix resume regression caused by the gen2/3 fencing fix merged into -rc2.

And a few other fixes:
- gpu hang fix for i845 (Chris)
- sprite fix (Armin Reese)
- crtc disable vs. scanlinewait race fix (Chris)
- rc6 module option read-only, it confused testers (Jesse)
- fbc related blitter death hw workaround, note that we disable fbc on snb
 by default anyway.

With these fixes we have one 3.4 regression outstanding: One of the
cleanup patches for the interlaced support managed to confuse the lvds
panel fitter when upscaling. The root-cause is still unclear, but test
patches are awaiting feedback from the reporter.

6f3603367b IB/srpt: Set srq_type to IB_SRQT_BASIC
Since commit 96104eda01 ("RDMA/core: Add SRQ type field"), kernel
users of SRQs need to specify srq_type = IB_SRQT_BASIC in struct
ib_srq_init_attr, or else most low-level drivers will fail in
when srpt_add_one() calls ib_create_srq() and gets -ENOSYS.

(mlx4_ib works OK nearly all of the time, because it just needs
srq_type != IB_SRQT_XRC. And apparently nearly everyone using
ib_srpt is using mlx4 hardware)

c85dcdac58 USB: gadget: storage gadgets send wrong error code for unknown commands
This patch (as1539) fixes a minor bug in the mass-storage gadget
drivers. When an unknown command is received, the error code sent
back is "Invalid Field in CDB" rather than "Invalid Command". This is
because the bitmask of CDB bytes allowed to be nonzero is incorrect.

When handling an unknown command, we don't care which command bytes
are nonzero. All the bits in the mask should be set, not just eight
of them.

effbc4fd8e Merge branch 'drm-intel-next' of git://people.freedesktop.org/~danvet/drm-intel into drm-core-next
Daniel Vetter wrote
First pull request for 3.5-next, slightly large than usual because new
things kept coming in since the last pull for 3.4.
Highlights:
- first batch of hw enablement for vlv (Jesse et al) and hsw (Eugeni). pci
ids are not yet added, and there's still quite a few patches to merge
(mostly modesetting). To make QA easier I've decided to merge this stuff
 in pieces.
- loads of cleanups and prep patches spurred by the above. Especially vlv
is a real frankenstein chip, but also hsw is stretching our driver's
code design. Expect more to come in this area for 3.5.
- more gmbus fixes, cleanups and improvements by Daniel Kurtz. Again,
there are more patches needed (and some already queued up), but I wanted
to split this a bit for better testing.
- pwrite/pread rework and retuning. This series has been in the works for
a few months already and a lot of i-g-t tests have been created for it.
Now it's finally ready to be merged. Note that one patch in this series
touches include/pagemap.h, that patch is acked-by akpm.
- reduce mappable pressure and relocation throughput improvements from
 Chris.
- mmap offset exhaustion mitigation by Chris Wilson.
- a start at figuring out which codepaths in our messy dri1/ums+gem/kms
driver we actually need to support by bailing out of unsupported case.
The driver now refuses to load without kms on gen6+ and disallows a few
ioctls that userspace never used in certain cases. More of this will
 definitely come.
- More decoupling of global gtt and ppgtt.
- Improved dual-link lvds detection by Takashi Iwai.
- Shut up the compiler + plus fix the fallout (Ben)
- Inverted panel brightness handling (mostly Acer manages to break things
 in this way).
- Small fixlets and adjustements and some minor things to help debugging.

Regression-wise QA reported quite a few issues on ivb, but all of them
turned out to be hw stability issues which are already fixed in
drm-intel-fixes (QA runs the nightly regression tests on -next alone,
without -fixes automatically merged in). There's still one issue open on
snb, it looks like occlusion query writes are not quite as cache coherent
as we've expected. With some of the pwrite adjustements we can now
reliably hit this. Kernel workaround for it is in the works."

c0aa3e0916 virtio_blk: helper function to format disk names
The current virtio block's naming algorithm just supports 18278
(26^3 + 26^2 + 26) disks. If there are more virtio blocks,
there will be disks with the same name.

Based on commit 3e1a7ff8a0, add
a function "virtblk_name_format()" for virtio block to support mass
of disks naming.

Notes:
- Our naming scheme is ugly. We are stuck with it
for virtio but don't use it for any new driver:
new drivers should name their devices PREFIX%d
where the sequence number can be allocated by ida
- sd_format_disk_name has exactly the same logic.
Moving it to a central place was deferred over worries
that this will make people keep using the legacy naming
  in new drivers.

15a13bbdff drm/i915: clear fencing tracking state when retiring requests
This fixes a resume regression introduced in

commit 7dd4906586
Author: Chris Wilson <chris@chris-wilson.co.uk>
Date: Wed Mar 21 10:48:18 2012 +0000

drm/i915: Mark untiled BLT commands as fenced on gen2/3

which fixed fencing tracking for untiled blt commands.

A side effect of that patch was that now also untiled objects have a
non-zero obj->last_fenced_seqno to track when a fence can be set up
after a pipelined tiling change. Unfortunately this was only cleared
by the fence setup and teardown code, resulting in tons of untiled but
inactive objects with non-zero last_fenced_seqno.

Now after resume we completely reset the seqno tracking, both on the
driver side (by setting dev_priv->next_seqno = 1) and on the hw side
(by allocating a new hws page, which contains the seqnos). Hilarity
and indefinite waits ensued from the stale seqnos in
obj->last_fenced_seqno from before the suspend.

The fix is to properly clear the fencing tracking state like we
already do for the normal gpu rendering while moving objects off the
active list.

6bac40a63a wlcore/wl12xx: adapt FW status for multiple families
Add room for a private data struct at the end of the common FW status.
Add a convenience "counters" struct inside the FW status.

The wl12xx family does not currently use the FW status private data.

80cd661097 wlcore/wl12xx: move identify firmware function to a lower driver op
Different chip families have different firmware versions, so we need
to identify the firmware to enable quirks, reject the used version
etc. in the lower drivers. This commit turns the fw_ver_quirks
function into an identify_fw operation.

ba421f8f92 wlcore: set max_rx_agg_subframes in mac80211 according to HT conf
The max Rx aggregation subframes configured to FW must be the same
number given to the upper layers (mac80211). Derive both from the same
value, given in the conf struct.

fa7930afa5 wlcore/wl12xx: add hw op to get rate-mask for AP-link in STA mode
In some chip-families, there are operating modes where we must mask-out
certain Tx rates, and/or tweak the rate-mask with special HW-specific
bits.

5453dc105a wlcore/wl12xx: use a single memory config and reset if using wl127x
Instead of having two memory configuration sets, one for wl127x and
one for wl128x, we can use only one which should be correctly set by
the lower driver.

The wl12xx driver now uses the wl128x memory config by default but
changes it when if it identifies the wl127x chips.

166b213626 wlcore/wl12xx: move extended radio configuration parameters to wl12xx
The extended radio configuration parameters are only used by the
wl127x chipsets, which are handled by the wl12xx driver. Move the rf
configuration settings from wlcore to wl12xx.

e87288f089 wlcore/wl12xx: move runtime configuration struct to the lower driver
The configuration parameters vary with different chip families. Some
of the parameters used only by some chip families, others should have
different value depending on the family. Thus move the configuration
values from wlcore to wl12xx.

5d10b1957d wlcore/wl12xx: expand functionality of cmd_trigger HW op
Change the cmd_trigger op to include the write of the command buffer.

Also, instead of letting the lower driver access the cmd_box_addr element
directly, we now pass the address in the trigger_cmd operation, so it
doesn't have to be exported.
